Slack Integration Overview

Slack is a messaging app for business communication and collaboration.

In this section, we will help you set up a Slack integration developed by WOZTELL. Combining the application of chatbot, this integration allows you to create a live chat handover system to the existing conversation flow. As a result, end users are given the choice to experience both the chat automation and real-time customer support.

Setup Guide

The first step is to create and set up the Slack channel, then install the Slack Integration from the marketplace.

Please refer to the Setup Guide for more details.

Live Chat Handover Flow

To apply the Slack Integration as a live chat solution of your chatbot, you need to create a live chat handover flow. As a result, the end user can choose to talk to a live chat agent instead of the chatbot.

Please refer to the Setup Guide for more details.

Slack Live Chat Command

When a ticket comes in, live agents in the Slack workspace can pick up the ticket and start a conversation with the customer. While handling live chat tickets in Slack, the agents can make use of Slack Commands to perform certain actions. These commands have been built into a chatbot that comes with the Slack Integration.

Please refer to Slack Command for more details.

Live Chat Agenda

On top of the basic features from the Slack integration, you can also set up and apply Agenda in the live chat module. This function allows you to execute a node after a given period of time for use cases such as sending a scheduled reminder message.

Please refer to Live Chat Agenda for more details.

Block Type Message

In Slack, Blocks are a series of components that can be combined to create functional and interactive messages. Here is the reference to the Slack's Layout blocks. After installing the Slack integration in WOZTELL, you can make use of a set of resource templates to create Blocks messages with ease.

Please refer to Block Message for more details.
